If you use your notebook as your daily computer, you need to elevate it on your desk, or risk ruining your neck and shoulders. I used to prop my PowerBook on a stack of thick art books, mainly because the laptop stands I found for sale were so ugly I didn't want them in my office.
The iCurve laptop computer stand, made by Griffin Technology, is a beautiful clear plastic stand with no-slip rubber grips. When you put your computer on it, the stand disappears, making it seem like your computer is floating.

I have one of these for my 12-in PowerBook and think it's great except that the no-slip rubber grips become slippery after a few months. I shored it up with some rubber laptop feet I had laying around and it works great now.

My SO loves her iCurve. We found the top rubber grips were not necessary since her iBook has little grippy feet anyway.

I use one for my gargantuan 17" widescreen laptop and it works great! Worth the price.

I have one for my powerbook 15inch, and yes, it is awesome. It actually makes my desk look alot cleaner.

Posting for Dennis Bishop:
I read you have laptop feet just lying around? Where the heck do you find those things? I recently bought a new laptop, but it came with the rubber feet missing. I have looked all over the internet and even contacted the manufacturer to no avail. Any suggestions? Feel free to e-mail me at HondaGirl2481@aol.com. Thanks
