Illustration Magazine

I like magazine, book, and ephemera illustrations from the 1920s - 1960s. The artists really had their technical chops down, and had wonderful imaginations as well. Illustration Magazine is the best place to read about these illustrators and see their work showcased in a lovingly-produced format. A few issues back, they profiled Frank Frazetta, as well as Norm Saunders, the guy who painted the lurid Mar Attacks bubblegum cards. mars attacks (You can buy most back issues, including the one featuring Norm Saunders and Frank Frazetta, from the magazine.)
